| Marina di Campo is located between Mount Capanne and the central mountains of Elba, where the plains stretch to golden sandy beaches, the longest on the island. The town’s centre is the old fishing village with picturesque painted houses and a tiny little harbour. The Pisan Tower, a former watch tower, still seems to stand guard over the seaside haven. Tourism is well-catered for in the town and the superb seafront walk is a magnet on warm summer evenings. This splendid stretch of sea and the sandy beaches afford a wide variety of sports and leisure activities including sunbathing, horse riding, sailing and scuba diving.
