Capoliveri

Capoliveri, population around 3400, is a historic old town located in an elevated position about 160 m above sea level on the island of Elba. The quaint crooked alleyways hold restaurants, bars and shops, several offering local handicrafts. The picturesque town square, venue for many summer concerts, affords wonderful views over the Stella Gulf to the islands close by. Many nearby beaches offer lovers of the outdoors a wide variety of sports and leisure activities including scuba diving. Various categories of hotels, apartments and camping sites cater for comfort.
